Coaching is a partnership where we work together to see what’s important to you, what are the barriers to achieving those important things, and determine how you want to be supported. 

While coaching, counselling, and consulting all look to make meaningful changes in our lives, they have different approaches and focus.

In general, counselling works on resolving what has happened in the past and has a focus on mental health. 

Consulting is when an expert in a particular field would come in and tell you what to do.

As a coach, I am not a mental health professional, and I am not here to tell you what to do. I am here to support you in understanding what the ideal future looks like, and how we can make changes in our present to get there.

We will work together to see how we can make the outcome different. Even if you have not achieved your goals yet, we want to see what has worked, and what doesn’t seem to work. We also want to see how we can define the goals in ways that feel not only possible, but also probable.

Each person’s journey is different. Coaching is not intended to be what you should do, but rather what you want to do. In our work together, we will work to define what that looks like, and how I can support you going forward.
